Thur 4th | World Book Day - 4th March 2010 Belmont Library - Hereford World Book Day is the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK and Ireland. Every year thousands of events are organised in schools, bookshops, libraries and other venues to celebrate reading. The Herefordshire Cultural Roadshow will be at Tescos at Belmont from 10am to 3pm on Thursday, and Bookstart Bear will be giving bookstart packs out at Belmont Library. Sun 14th | Open Garden Event at Putley In aid of St Michael's Hospice
Come and enjoy the beautiful gardens at Putley Court on Sunday 14th March as they open in aid of the Hospice. Admission is £3.50, children under 12 enter for free. Refreshments, a raffle and Bric-a-Brac stall will also be available. The garden will be open between 2:00pm and 4:30pm so come along and enjoy the sunshine and the tranquility that is Putley Court.
